Highlights From My Thailand and Hong Kong Trip

I was supposed to start writing recaps from each city, but let’s be real, I was lazy.  I’m still tired and adjusting to getting back to the daily routine.  I have yet to upload all the photos I’ve taken on my camera, but if you were following me on Instagram, then you might have seen some of these photos I took with my iPhone.  What?!  You’re not following me on Instagram?!  It’s the only social media outlet I really use religiously, so if you don’t mind the constant grams of my precious pug Otis, then follow along! Anyway, here’s a photo of our elephant ride in a farm about three hours away (driving) from Bangkok:

Here’s the scenery on the ferry ride from Phuket to Phi Phi:

The view from a bar at the Holiday Inn Resort in Phi Phi:

And here I am at The Peak in Hong Kong:

Needless to say, it was an awesome trip!  I promise I’ll start my recaps tomorrow… maybe.  On other news, here are some of the current happenings going on in my life:

  • I’m starting to get more into coffee.  I have a French press now so I need to get some coffee grinds.  Any suggestions?
  • I revived my love for Zara.  When I went to a store in Hong Kong, I saw all these pieces I just had to own!
  • I received an award at work.  I don’t need recognition for validation, but getting acknowledged for my hard work surely makes me feel appreciated considering I work for the man.
  • You may or may not have known that I was a wedding planner.  I used to own a business with one of my best friends April.  The business didn’t work out, but that’s not to say I stopped my love for wedding planning!  I’ve been helping my brother and his fiancee plan their entire wedding (Jocelyn always says without me, they probably wouldn’t have set a date yet) and assisting two sets of friends who are also getting married next year – one with invitations and one with a wedding website and other miscellaneous things asked of me.  I found myself performing wedding tasks during my trip and as soon as I came back!  I’m sure to blog about these projects in the near future.

Happy Hump Day All!

Enjoy Ginet
